Do you want to break through your fear? If yes, read on…….

Leaders face this issue but don’t acknowledge it.

Don’t forget! Before you are a leader, you are a human and are just as prone to emotional upheavals and insecurities even if you are compelled to put on a brave front and a mask of courage and self-confidence.

You are afraid that if you slip up, it will weaken you and your position. It doesn’t matter what that fear is. It could be fear of judgment, fear of falling short of other’s expectations, fear of selling to your clients, fear of building your personal brand, fear of not being able to deliver results or profits, fear of not being able to cohesively bring the team together, fear of failure, or fear of success.

It doesn’t matter what that fear is. The point is you are human and are prone to insecurities even if you are a leader. So what do you do when you are confronted with fear?

Which of these 3 acronyms of fear do you subscribe to?

F.E.A.R = Forget Everything And Run

F.E.A.R = False Evidence Appearing Real

F.E.A.R = Face Everything And Rise

So when confronted with fear, you can choose to Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise. When you are facing everything and Rising then remember that False Evidence Appears Real. Something which is false can’t be real.

So when faced with fear, remember it’s something you need not be afraid of because it’s not really real.

Confront it! Own it! Face it! Emerge a victor!

Do yourself a favor when you next experience a trace of fear, tell yourself: I am going to Face Everything And Rise.

Leadership is about facing it! Leadership is about rising! Leadership is about rising unflinchingly in the face of that fear!
